Hello....
In thinking about what to share this week, I thought of something that I just needed to schedule for my boys this summer...  CAMP....

Being that my boys are only 5, 3, and 2... I wasn't sure what the right fit would be, but after a little research and some facility tours we decided on the Main Line YMCA, in Berwyn.  It is an amazing facility and they have a ton to offer the younger kids, as well as a lot of smaller more focused camps for the older kids.

Here is a great site to find many Camps, to choose the right one for you.

My restaurant choice of the week is..   Alfredo Italian BYOB in Berwyn

http://www.alfredobyo.com

We dined with there with another couple, and had a great time, and enjoyed some authentic Italian food. Not always easy to find pastas that match up to what I enjoyed in Florence and Roma, but make sure to ask your server what is made fresh.  :)

All About Us

We strive to serve as your competent and reliable partner in business. Our friendly and attentive staff is looking forward to serving you.
alfredo restaurant has always been the place to go in Berwyn. Aside from our award winning hand rolled gnocchi, the people of Berwyn especially appreciate our whole grilled fish, artisan pastas, as well as our home made hot doughnuts from our pastry chef.

We see ourselves as a family restaurant. Whether you are a regular to alfredo restaurant, or it’s your first visit, our staff will always make you feel right at home.

One other cool tidbit I just heard about for those running fans, or for those of you that are not big runners, but are thinking of getting involved in one, that maybe is a little different (I fit into this category)

Check this one out...  LOOKS SUPER FUN..

WELCOME TO THE COLOR VIBE!!!
Not just a fun activity for the whole family, but a seriously unique experience. Have you ever gone running, and been happy, and smiled, and thought this is a good idea, and then been like “hmmm maybe i should do this again!” Ya we know your what your thinking! Because we had never thought of that either! So we came up with a way that you could experience all of those things, and you could do it with all your friends and family, and you could do it in COLOR!!

The Habit of Art (Encore)

Encore broadcast in honor of the National Theatre's 50th anniversary

(NR) Written by Alan Bennett (The History Boys)
d. Nicholas Hytner
Starring Richard Griffiths
Performed at London's National Theatre

General Admission: $20
BMFI Members: $18
Students with ID: $10

Benjamin Britten seeks advice from his former collaborator and friend, W. H. Auden, as he composes the opera Death in Venice. During this imagined meeting, their first in twenty-five years, they are observed and interrupted by, amongst others, their future biographer and a young man from the local bus station.

This play from Alan Bennett (The History Boys) is as much about the theatre as it is about poetry or music. It looks at the unsettling desires of two difficult men, and at the ethics of biography. It reflects on growing old, on creativity and inspiration, and on persisting when all passion’s spent: ultimately, on the habit of art.

Suitable for mature audiences only.

In honor of the National Theatre's 50th anniversary, BMFI is showing encores of their most popular productions.

Hello Blog Followers.. Sorry for the weekly delay, but I have been buried under snow, and from the looks of it, I am about to be buried again.
I know that I am not the only one in saying that Mr. Winter can move along. I am sure their are a ton of you looking out into your yards, and in need of some contacts to get all the limbs and tree depree from your property. Here are a few services that I know of.

Ricks Tree Service: http://www.rickstreeservice.com
They always have coupons in the mailers you get.

Monster Tree Service: http://www.whymonster.com
They also have the coupons in the mailer you get.

Bob McGrath is also someone I have used in the past. He is not always quick to respond, but his prices are always very good, and if you can get a quote from him, and show the other services his quote (He tends to be really booked) they will most likely honor it.  This Mom of 3 is always looking for a little savings. :)

Take the time, and contact TSO Adjustment Services (Local Ft Washington 215-886-7440). They are on your side, and will work to double what the insurance companies adjustor would feel is a fair amount (never enough) for the repairs to your property.  Check out their A+ Rating and contact info on BBB Business Review.

Welcome to Wayne

About Wayne

Located in the heart of the Main Line, Wayne is a popular suburb of Philadelphia with a lively main street and beautiful homes. Wayne was originally named “Louella” after the founder J. Henry Askin’s daughters, Louisa and Ella. Askin built a famous historical 80-room mansion which was later purchased to form a larger development called Wayne Estate, named after General Anthony Wayne. Several prominent homes and a hotel were then built around Wayne Estate. The name stuck. By the turn of the twentieth century, Wayne became a thriving community and a popular getaway for wealthy Philadelphia businessmen.
Wayne is technically located in Delaware, Chester, and Montgomery counties (in parts of Radnor, Tredyffrin, and Upper Merion townships, respectively).  Wayne centers on the intersection of Lancaster Avenue and Wayne Avenue. Served by Tredyffrin-Easttown School District and Radnor School District, residents enjoy strong public school systems and a variety of private school options including Valley Forge Military Academy. An affluent area, a traditional single-family home tends to range from $400-800,000. More affordable townhomes, condos, and fixer-uppers are available as well.
Today, Wayne is consistently recognized for being a wonderful place to live and raise a family. There is something for everybody in Wayne, with plenty of recreational activities and parks, wonderful dining, and trendy shopping. Be sure to check back for my favorite spots in Wayne, and great local events!
